Reading the favorite female singer thread got me to thinking. Lucinda's song writing, voice, and delivery have become a major staple of my playlist over the years. The fact that she also relies heavily on the blues and rock 'n roll also makes her extremely satisfying to my musical tastes. Any thoughts or observations from other Lucinda devotees out there?

She's written some great songs and put out some great albums. Her live performances can be hit or miss. When she's on she's terrific.

Kicked off her tour for that album at the Varsity and it was a damn good show. And yeah, damn good album too.

One of my favorite songs of all time is Return Of The Grievous Angel done by Lucinda Williams & David Crosby on the Gram Parsons tribute album that Emmylou Harris produced (whole album is solid).
