Best cover of Stones' "Dead Flowers"

For the record, Burnett agrees with the Dude (”[The Eagles] sort of single-handedly destroyed that whole scene that was brewing back then,” he says), but the line infuriated Glenn Frey. “I ran into [Frey] and he gave me some shite,” Jeff Bridges says. “I can’t remember what he said exactly, but my anus tightened a bit.”

OK, that's pretty good too. Hadn't heard that one. She's got a great voice, but to me it doesn't seem to quite match the "feel" of the song. Bad-arse instrumentation on that version though.

Townes is my favorite song writer. Period. But his voice is pretty rough and I don't listen to him much. But I agree with you, he does a great cover of Dead Flowers and I'd rather hear him do it than anyone else.

Never heard this version. Not bad, but imo, no way that is better than keef and mick.
