My father in law is coming in town and wants to get a guide for Lake P. It is short notice, but does anyone know who may have an opening for next weekend?

Most are booked. I can tell you who not to take.
Greg Schlumbretch with To Fish charters.
Check with Chas Champagne at Dockside bait in Slidell.
Maybe him or Kenny Kreger have an opening.
I know Dudley and Dumas are booked tight.

I've got Dumas booked for a day in a month from now, and he was booked solid in June. I wasn't even going to attempt to reach out to him.

I will try the others. Thanks. MoJo.

Call the guide Capt Greg at Seabrook Harbor Marina. He does a good job IMHO.

I have met Capt Greg before although I have never actually been out on a boat with him. Met him during the BP spill and he seemed ok. What is the story?

Greg Schumbrecht is top notch. I've been on four charters with him and we always limited out. The other Greg is Capt Greg Henry

Hey,to each his own. I just know I'd rather be out on the lake with other Captains. That's about all I have to say about that.

No offense but if you are going to knock the guy you could at least provide something substantive.

Went with Dumas last year.Trout were hard to find but he put us on the tripletail. He spent a ton of money on fuel.He didnt quit looking for fish until the weather forced our hand that afternoon.

I am kind of interested in catching some of the triple tails when we go in a few weeks with him.
