SLU losing last night did them in and had absolutely no pitching for finals. Uta did awesome. Slu did enough to get in but they play in slc and committee will never put them in. Great year for lions and made finals for first time that I can remember. The slc will finally get 2 teams in and hopefully Sam Houston can do well enough so that slc gets respect from here on out

I think the SLC can get three teams in.
SHSU is a lock. SLU is 55/45 at this point IMO.

the EPSN crew is saying they think SLC gets 3 if SLU gets to finals...50/50 if SLU loses.

To be fair, that is not an ESPN crew. Chris Mycoskie, the PBP guy, is the director of media relations for the Southland.
ESPN is just contracting them for this game.

My point was that they are going to be pushing for a third team from the SLC.
On another note, I think Southeastern has the worst jersey scheme in college baseball.
They ruin their whites with those stupid came hats, then they have the camo jerseys, and then they top it off with these all gold, thinking that they are the 1970's A's.
BTW, the camo does not benefit any armed forces organization at all. Artigues makes the team wear them because they "look cool". True story.

My biggest gripe with him is that with 0 outs and Brock or Pace up he bunts no questions asked...I understand they like small ball but he never doesnt bunt with the best two hitters up. Really bugs me when it doesn't work.

There was one game I went to this season where he bunted Pace 3 frickING TIMES and only once was there a runner in scoring position.
There's that, and he is just a douchebag of a human being according to most of the players.
