Champions Square....

I've seen pics of it, looks nice. How does it compare to a college atmosphere tailgate or other NFL tailgates. Is there good security, is there "thugs" running around in the area, etc. I'd like to go down there to hang out at the Champions Square on game day.
Oh and where can you see the Super Bowl Trophy at??

It's actually quite nice man. Sweet video wall and usually people playing. Decent food at all the booths.

It was a nice day out a few days ago, and I decided to take my cat for a walk and ended up in Champions Square. Two guys came up to me and said "give me that fricking cat!"... I said "NO! No, I will not give you my fricking cat"! I was then beaten and stabbed in the legs so I couldn't get up. Then they raped my cat. I'm never going back. Absolutely the worst place ever. They also took my shoes, thugs. Cowherd is right, can't go anywhere in this town.

My issues were with the Mexicans that descended on New Orleans after Katrina. Cheap labor was needed. Now they kill tourists in Champion square...just for grins. New Orleans just ain't what it used to be.

I just have to comment on how great this thread is.
As long as you stay on the interstate side of the dome you are fine.
If you go to the side with champions square side, things get crazy.

the Dome is the most dangerous place in the whole city, man. Even though it may be safer under the I-10 bridge than Champions Square, that don't necessarily mean its safe.
For example, in Champions Square you will get raped and possibly murdered but under the bridge you will only get mugged and maybe sexually groped, but not raped.

Please do not even talk about the Superdome parking lot. Sends damn shivers down my spine just thinking about it. My Uncle was walking up to us and then a stampede of wild animals (kind of like Jumanji) was set lose by some men. He was torn to bits. Then they took his cellphone and called his daughter to pick him up. When she got there she was raped, twice.
