About to purchase a King Ranch and want to level it out and put on a set 35' Nitto Mud Grapplers and I plan to keep the 20 stock wheels on. My question - should I get a 2' or 2.5' leveling kit?

For 35's you might need a 3" kit IIRC.

This.

You could probably do some aggressive 33's, so long as they aren't too wide.

Can you fit 35's with a 2.5" kit?

I've seen it done on the new body styles with a 2.5" levels. 35''s are a must with the big ol ford body styles. I know several people running this set up with minor rub at full lock.

Hell if I know, I'll most likely just get 33's

That probably contributes to the rubbing

I had to add 4.5 to my F250 to fit 35's.

If you want the aggressive look you will have to lift.

3 inch with 35's, works every time (back block is not necessary)

Well just got off the phone with a buddy, he has an 09' king ranch with a 2.5 and runs 35's, thats all he did. Guess it works.

It will work if the tires do not stick out past the wheel wells. Not many people can run Mud Grapplers with them inside the wheel well. Especially not 35's because they will be 35x12.5x20.

Also with my truck pictured above I still get rub. I would have went higher except that was the highest I could go and still pull my gooseneck trailers.

So what if it sticks out past the wheel well? Will that cause problems?

If you lift the trailer maybe. My trailer weighs 8000 dry and holds 19000 lbs payload. Wouldn't be real safe to lift that.

Some custom made goosenecks have higher necks. I can't pull most goosenecks without them bottoming out on the bed. A 5th wheel you would definitely have to lift it.
