2 homerun top 15 draft picks ala OKC with Westbrook and Durant. NOH need to make both of them count.

I dont see A. Davis of being that much of a contributor on offense that the Hornets need. He's a better version (potentially) than Okafor.

No clue. Durant was a sure thing, maybe Harden too but at least I myself was skeptical about Westbrook after seeing him at UCLA.

Both him and Holliday proved me wrong.

They don't need two players at the level of Durant and Westbrook. They already have Gordon so somebody like Davis and a legitimate scorer would put them on a good path.

This. Would need a wing. Barnes can't shoot well enough to be a wing.

Trade for Pau and sign Odom so we can have the TV show in NOLA.

That's one of the only things that Harrison Barnes does well. Catch and shoot.

Are you thinking about Ariza or Aminu.

Anyway, the Hornets need at least one big/frontcourt player and a scorer.

Davis/Lillard would be a great. TRob/Beal or Barnes.

It's also possible they could trade 10 for a veteran scorer.

?

That's a fact. I don't know what you're trying to argue. Barnes is best in catch and shoot situations. That's his thing. What he's bad at is creating his own shot.

Virtually every scouting report would agree with that. So..

You can really look at his 33 percent 3-point shooting and say he's a good shooter?????

I don't give a frick what the scouting reports say, apparently you haven't watched him play, EVER

I have watched him play many times. I don't love him as a prospect. I think he's to one dimensional.

Where did I mention 3pt shot by the way? His midrange shooting ability is quite good. He was a post up player in HS, so he's never had to develop a long game.

But what he does best is catch and shoot. His release is textbook. Sorry, it's a fact. I don't know what to tell you. You're literally the only person alive that thinks otherwise.

mmmmmkay. Hit me back in 5 years and tell me how much his awesome shooting is carrying him in the NBA.

Oh, and reading Bleacher Report scouting reports don't count

Once again, I have not argued for him as an elite prospect or being an AllStar.

I've said the thing he does best is catch and shoot. His midrange game getting fed shots by guards is what he does best. True or False? True.

That statement would be true if he shot 1% and did everything worse.

A scorer would do well on this team. That was suppose to be Gordon though. Another big to pair with Okafor? I could see that too. Is Jack and Gordon enough and you upgrade the SF position? They need a bonafide star though. 2 would be nice.

You mean top 5 draft picks. You won't find players the caliber of Durant and Westbrook drafting outside the top 10. Also, get a GM as good as Sam Presti which is a near-impossible task. RC Buford is the only GM better than Presti at this moment.

You're talking about guys like Durant, Westbrook and Harden who were drafted 2nd, 4th and 3rd overall over a 3 year span. The Hornets aren't going to do that in one year.

And I'll be honest, the more I watch the NBA draft, the more I think it's somewhat of a crapshoot except for a few of the can't misses and there are good players to be had later on.

2nd overall Kevin Durant
3rd overall Deron Williams
4th overall Chris Paul
4th overall Russell Westbrook
5th overall Kevin Love
5th overall Dwyane Wade
8th overall Rudy Gay
9th overall Amar'e Stoudemire
9th overall Andre Iguodala
10th overall Joe Johnson
10th overall Andrew Bynum
17th overall Roy Hibbert
18th overall David West
21st overall Rajon Rondo

Compare guys who were drafted higer than some of the guys above like Darko, Michael Beasley, OJ Mayo, Yi Jianlian, Kwame Brown, Andrea Bargnani, Greg Oden, Adam Morrison, Andrew Bogut and Marvin Williams.
