Just bought a house, and am wondering what are the normal bills you have to pay monthly?

For me that figure is more in the $300 range for each of the first couple months of home ownership. Especially if this is someone's first house.

Not necessarily monthly, but I budget for all of these monthly:

Water / Sewage
Entergy
ATMOS Gas
Trash Collection (Quarterly)
Termite Protection (Annually)
Cable / Satellite
Internet
Lawn Maintenance
Home Phone Line (did away with several years ago)
Homeowner's Insurance (included in Escrow)
Neighborhood Association Fee (Annually)

Good point. I overlooked taxes and homeowner's insurance because they're included in my mortgage payment.

I pay:

property taxes (I don't have a mortgage)
water
electric
gas (propane)
internet/tv/cell

That's it. I do my own pest control, lawn maintenance and home security.

that's like asking someone how much their car note is a month. Depends on the house, elevation and location as well as a bunch of other factors.
