If you can hang the banner on a SEC Championship...you do it.

i dont think their is a scenario where in a tie between LSU, UK and UF, LSU can end up 3rd.. but i see where you are saying it could happen.. just not this year.

Anyone have a link for the score of the MSU-UK game?

With the Kentucky loss tonight does that now mean winner of our game tomorrow wins SEC? Or do we need Kentucky to lose again?
Eta: from the standings in the OP it likes like we need to win tomorrow and have KY lose.

Depends on what Florida does too.

if lsu and florida both win and kentucky loses this would be the standings
lsu 19-11
florida 19-11
s carolina 18-11
kentucky 18-12
lsu beat florida 2-3 therefore gets #1 seed. I'm pretty sure that is correct

Right, if LSU ... Florida and UK all win tmrw its a 3 way tie. I don't know how that's figured out.

Looks like a 3-way tie if LSU, KY, and UF all win tomorrow. I'm sure someone has already worked out the scenarios for this. I know UF has tiebreak over KY, KY has tiebreak over LSU, and LSU has tiebreak over UF. What happens in this scenario?

yea we are all 3-3 vs each other. a poster last night said that they do the east tiebreaker first which florida wins and then we would be regular season champs based on our series win vs florida. hopefully that is true.
none of that matters unless we win though. tomorrow will be interesting.

Yep.
Here are the scenarios (I believe):
LSU wins, UF wins - LSU is the top seed regardless of what happens with UK
LSU wins, UK loses, UF loses - LSU alone atop the SEC
LSU wins, UK wins, UF loses - UK is the top seed
If LSU wins, they will officially have at least a share of the conference regular season title and will be a virtual lock for a top 8 seed.

in a three way tie, UK holds the tiebreaker..
UF can not 'win' the SEC
interesting not though.. they would own the tiebreaker over UK to 'win' the East.. so if the SEC does it that way, it would come down to LSU and UF, in which LSU gets the nod..
im not sure how they do that though..

With Florida playing Auburn it looks good for us as long as we win tomorrow.

We just need to nut up and win tomorrow......then let the chips fall

correct. If USC were to win, they would hold a half game lead on UF. WHEN LSU wins, they'll hold the head-to-head tie-breaker. Either way, they can't finish as the #1.

Won't the Tournament decide the top 8 National Seeds regardless of what happens tomorrow?
