| Houston police officer innocent? (Posted on 5/16/12 at 1:54 pm)
Saw no thread about this. Houston folks already know. What do you think? The first cop tried for official oppression got verdict of innocent. On video he apparently only kicks the guy twice and hauls arse for some reason. I guess to turn off siren and secure his car. Does Houston burn to the ground tonight? And more serious question. 4 other cops are charged. Are they all charged with the same crime? There are 3 cops on video who remain over the guy and stomp his ass. The one closest to camera appears to throw about 12-15 kicks. We're they charged with more serious offenses and what do you think their chances are? I genuinely feel the verdict was wrong but was a possible retaliation against Quannel X who is in front of a camera every time shite like this happens. People are sick of seeing him and are mistrustful of him. His involvement makes a guy look more guilty and less sympathetic. IMO it cost them this guys conviction. That and him being the guy who threw the least number of shots.

So, you essentially get no response to your thread for a few hours, then bump it, and include an IB4?

Waiting for the afternoon news people to see it. Expected the "outrage" to reach a peak soon.

So this happened in May of 2010. WTF did it take so long for a verdict. I mean seriously, 2 years?

I'm never for police brutality but the only real punishment that burglar would ever get is that beating. Jail/prison is no deterrent to them anymore. They took it a bit too far though.

Is inciting a riot not a crime in Texas? How is Mr. X not behind bars?
