I don't doubt that the Dupree kid is talented, but there is no way they have been able to find enough footage of him to truly evaluate his skills.

The top 5 LA guys have offers, and Sims is probably getting one soon. For OOS kids, I think we're in a really good spot for Paris and Scott, don't really know a lot about the other ones.

Number 43 on the list, Devon Thomas, is originally from Slidell. I don't think he was a Katrina evacuee, but he is originally from the state.

Also, Tony Brown S, will be ranked right outside of the Top 100. Brick Haley is friends with the family, so that has to help with him.

Thanks

Solid work so far this year in recruiting. Just stay out of Texas and Louisiana and we'll see you in Miami

Paris is one of the best skill guys out there, But I heard he is lazy sometimes. He needs to be hungry cause it's come too easy for him so far.

This could be a HUUUUUUUGE year in recruiting. Just think about what it will be like after we win the title in Miami.

I think Dupree's ranking comes from Simmons seeing him in person a couple of times and his performances at camps. He's been quite impressive. Do agree on the film part. Hard to get a good read in that offense.

Has anyone seen Cameron Sims , the 6'3" 185 lb WR from Ouachita play? I haven't found any video or even a picture other than a basketball picture from this year.

I found a PDF file that shows he had 16 catches for 368 yards with four TD's. That's 23 yards per catch and he scored on four of the 16 times he got the ball.

This kid better be in camp this spring so our coaches can see what he can do when he gets thrown a pass. According to that link Ouachita only threw 165 times all of last year. Another 2014 kid who'll also be back, Taijuan Thomas, had for 759 yards and eight TD's. Can't see them getting many more passes if they have the same coaches and/or QB's.

This is the ultimate situation of a kid who should be playing 7-on-7 this summer to get some experience and exposure. Anyone know if he's playing any tournaments?
