I don't think earth shattering but said again he thinks drew's at that 20-21 mill number, saints are still at that 19 range.
The difference is too small for them to let it interrupt OTA's coming up and offseason workouts for this team in this state IMO.

This is what I've been thinking all along. I haven't panicked yet. I'll save that for August if Drew hasn't signed by the start of training camp.

I thought the originally middle ground was going to be like 21 to 21.5... so if Loomis is getting landing ground to 20 or even below 20... Loomis is a master of negotiations.

The way franchise tag rules work you might want to put your panic date in July not August.

I agree and that's petty on the saints part. Drew deserves the extra. The man has earned it by being more than just a QB for this team and city. The man is a fricking icon here.

I don't want to start a thread about it, but I'm hearing that Miami told Drew he could have whatever he wants.
None of the coaches want to talk about it, but there is a reason there are multiple QB's in camp right now.
I would hate it to be true. frick Miami.

Look, I know you don't want to hear what is floating around town.
I know all information must meet approval by way of North Carolina. But the coaches are all preparing for a season without the guy, and Miami is offering him the $$ he wants.
Money is gonna talk from now on.

1. Brees isn't going to Miami, they passed on him once already..
2. The Saints can tag Brees for 3 seasons, I don't agree with them doing it for 1, but they don't care what I think.
3. If the deal falls apart over 1-2 million a year then there are bigger problems that we don't know about.
4. Miami could get in big trouble for tampering
