Same thing. I was thinking press conference out of nowhere meant something big. Previously scheduled means talk about rookies and answer a million questions about Brees contract with, "both sides are working very hard and we are confident a deal will be done soon."

My dad brought something up to me.
And I hadn't really considered it before.
I don't think it's true; but at this point, I don't know what's true.
He said he thinks it's possible that, after buying the Hornets, Benson just doesn't have the cash in hand to cover the full cap.
So, he may not have the scratch to pay Brees what he wants.
He said this has happened before in the league.
Can you imagine if that were true?
