If people know, I doubt they're willing to share.

Exactly.

King,

That's Gaston territory. I'm low in the OB tiers, but not that low.

Hop the fence and fish behind the Pennington Biomedical Center, they don't mind.

Anybody fish in the lake by "the cottages"? I've been by there but never fished in it. Looks like it could hold some nice fish.

Pretty much brand new pond. Doubt they had enough time to establish a sustainable population.

Do you really think the cottages people would stock their ponds? I'd be willing to bet that the reasons that they built them were because they were required to for drainage and they probably needed a large water source for firefighters

There was a BR fishing map but it was locked away in the vault once all the lurkers started dragging their fatasses out to every spot on the map.

that's what I would think. I do know a girl who lives there and she said she has seen people catching "nice fish." I'm about 98% she has no idea what she was talking about and was just trying to be included in the conversation.

I always thought about bringing a pole or two in from home.
I wouldnt know where to start fishing besides the lsu lakes and I'm guessing that's pretty terrible with all the people fishing them?

when they posted that pond map, my stomach turned.

sharing baits, or maybe driving directions to a launch is one thing. sharing a specific spot or trick to catch the fish on the internet is a terrible idea. doubly so when it's a small pond that the assholes who don't catch and release will fish out in a matter of weeks.

fishing spots are secrets for a good reason: if they're not secrets then they're probably not good spots anymore.

The fishing map was my creation.

Sorry it started with good intentions.

It was only up for about 1 week
