I haven't seen this posted yet but below is a link to Fujita's statement on the so-called bounty system. It's hard to believe all these players would lie about this because if they are lying it can come back to bite them in the arse.

Here is the email Fujita sent in to the Assosciated Press.

quote:

"I disagree wholeheartedly with the discipline imposed. I've yet to hear the specifics of any allegation against me, nor have I seen any evidence that supports what the NFL alleges. I look forward to the opportunity to confront what evidence they claim to have in the appropriate forum. I have never contributed money to any so-called 'bounty' pool, and any statements to the contrary are false. To say I'm disappointed with the League would be a huge understatement."

Things are about to get heated, guys. Same story said by all, support from other NFL players, and even growing support from the media now.

More than any of the other players, I think Fujita is the most intellectually capable of taking on Rog head-on. Vilma seems too emotional and should let his lawyer do most of his talking for now.

This response sums it up:

quote:

If anyone thinks this is going to go away easy, you have no idea what kind of fight Fujita can wage

SF is pissed and has every right to be. Goodell is going to have all kind of lawyers coming at him.

Don't underestimate Vilma. He has to smart to play the way he does. Emotion does not equate to stupid.

If Rog was smart, he would have given SF a pass.

But he's not smart.
