I am glad ARK lost. I would rather wrap up the west first. We can handle our own business with SC in a couple of weeks

well.. the West lead is pretty safe.. if we can win 1 more against Ole Miss, i'd like for Arkansas to win the next two against USC

i agree with that if we win more, i wouldn't mind ark taking the next two.
but had we lost today and they pulled it out they would have only been two back. That is why i was against them tonite

the lead in the west is solid at this point. we swept them.
i'm looking at the potential top 8 national seed. i know, i know, handle your business and blah blah, but it never hurts to get help.
and now that Florida has won the first 2, need them to complete the sweep of UK and hopefully they fall off the table these last 2 weeks

Exactly what I said about 20 minutes ago.
A Top 8 seed is THE MOST IMPORTANT thing we need. And UF finishing off UK is what is most in our favor at the moment. That would mean 5 losses in 6 SEC games for UK. But as we keep winning, I think the nation might start seeing LSU and SC as the real two SEC teams and UK and UF not being all that.
Time will tell and there is a lot of SEC baseball left. But I love my Tigers' chances now!

the more i think about it, there is no way the SEC East gets 3 top 8 seeds.. either the SEC only gets two top 8s, or LSU and two east teams get them..
im thinking the SEC only gets two, and its LSU, USC and UF at this point, and USC and LSU are probably playing for a top 8 the last weekend and the SEC overall title..
so the SEC champion and UF get in.. dont know what affect the tourney will have on anything

Well they had 3 last year but they all tied for the overall title. Like someone else said, I think it's best that Florida complete the sweep tomorrow and knock Kentucky down some more. The Wildcats finish the season in Starkville which won't be easy.

- 15 games (the number we have won)
- 11 games (the number the 2nd ranked team has lost
you have 5 games
So if LSU wins 5 games from this point forward we win the SEC West outright
if Arkansas looses any games we only have to win 4 2 games only 3 and so on and so forth.
I'll be shocked if LSU doesn't win the west its very much in their grasp.
