I haven't decided what class I'm going to start with. I tried all of them in the beta and each had their pros and cons (as they should). I will probably just play whatever the rest of the group I'm playing with isn't playing as.

I identify most with the Demon Hunter, played a lot of Amazon in D2 and the Demon Hunter seems like a mix between a zon and assassin.

When I was able to log on during the stress test beta I played a monk, and it was a great time. I'm thinking I will stick with the monk for my first playthrough. Or maybe a wizard...

Yeah, I downloaded D2 after the open beta and that's exactly what a Demon Hunter is.
And I love it.

Barbarian definitely going to need the shouts for group support on the higher-end dungeon runs.

Indeed, If I wasn't playing a Barbarian I would play a monk, it was 2nd favorite class during beta.

It was funny, cool at first to have the zombie dogs and spiders.. but it was similar to a warlock from WoW in that you just kinda.. throw your shite out there and watch the health bars melt slowly while you twiddle your thumbs. Too passive for me.

Finals are over on May 12, D3 comes out May 15; it couldn't be better.
I'll be playing a shitload until mid June.
