Having a bounty but not actually injuring anyone illegally gets you a year

but stepping on peoples heads, kicking them, intentional H2H shots, you know all things that have actually happened on the field to players gets you a game or two?

yep, I have a feeling shite's about to get real.

it's more of the whole not cooperating with the investigation thing that caused RG to come down so hard

What is worse, having a bounty on players or actually failing to execute to earn said bounty? Not like putting bounty out actually improved performance on field

These appeals are going to make this a moot point. I doubt any of the 4 guys will miss a single down of the 2012 and 2013 seasons.

So Roger is MORE concerned about being lied to than player safety. Got it.

that's not at all the case, and you know that.
say you are the boss of a huge company and you find out your employees are lying to you, trying to cover up something they did. you're already going to suspend them without pay. you gonna just keep it the same as though they never lied? HELL NO. you're gonna tack on more.

So he's a whining bitch that can't deal with people not listening to him, got it

Well Gooddell isn't there boss like you or me have a boss. He doesn't pay them nor does he give two shits how they perform. Chain I command is out of wack in the sports.

The players never actually illegally hit anyone, thats my point. Its just a conspiracy to commit a crime at this point.

What does it say about Roger's intentions if he was willing to sweep this under the rug if they'd stopped 2 seasons ago? Just like he did with the Packers bounty program when they stopped...which got no publicity
If he cared that much about safety, what happened in 2009-10 should've been cause for punishment. He let it go on for 2 more seasons, though.
Thats 32+ more games where Goodell allowed the Saints to, ALLEGEDLY, put guys' careers and lives at risk

Agreed. The worst part of the situation is examining the results of the SF game and knowing a bounty program was going on.

Which is a crime, even if you aren't successful.
