Exactly. I tore my ACL 3 times and never once heard a pop. With that being said, it isn't looking good for Rose. At the very least he sprained something and I'd be surprised if he makes it back this postseason. Really hope he didn't tear anything.....

Regardless if he tore something or not, they NEED to shut him down for the rest of the season.

This is SIX injuries in the past 3 1/2 months for him. His career could be screwed if they let him play further.

Hey, just passing on info, but even if it's not a severe tear and just a sprain that's a 4-6 weeks+ recovery time. I'm not confident he'll play again in the playoffs.

Has there ever been a more harsh injury to a team in the beginning of the playoffs than this?

Double digit lead with just over a minute in the last game of the year with the top seed locked up for several days.

Inexcusable stupidity by Thibodeau.

ETA: Whoops, Game 1.

Meh. Sixers had cut lead from 20 to 12, and Bulls didn't want them to get any confidence for game 2. If he doesn't tear it there, he could have just as easily torn it in first play of game 2. I don't think second guessing is fair in this instance.

It was a non-contact injury. It could've happened at any time. Can't really blame Thibs for this.

frick me, fail.

I take responsibility for that one.

It doesn't make it any less stupid with the game locked up.

Agree 100%. Rose has been battling injuries all year and just never at full playing shape, so it was bound to happen at any time. I'm no Bulls fan, but I feel bad for him.
