David Helman on ESPN.com points out that we have had a D-lineman chosen in the draft for NINE straight years. He lists many of them and concludes, "That's about a dozen arguments for why any defensive tackle in the nation should be interested in attending LSU. It's slightly harder coming up with a reason not to."

And Logan will go high next year and Freak the year after that.

We literally have to sign a deep DE and DT class this year. It's imperative. That and quarterback. We do that and we're good.

I agree. We really need 2 good DT's and at least 1 SEC type QB at a minimum.

I think Lawson is going to be really good. I just watched his film, and with some more weight lifting and technique training, he could be scary. He is really explosive. I don't know how he was under the radar to be honest.

Wasn't he just moved from OT to DT midway through last season? With just a half season experience at the position, how could he not be under the radar? Next season should be a good indicator of how special Lawson might become as a Fighting Tiger.

Yeah at DT, but if you watch his OT video as well, I still don't see how he was under the radar. This guy is very good at both positions and I see why the staff went after him hard as did Auburn and Ole Miss once they saw his film. He is explosive on both sides.

Hopefully, LSU and staff can sell this as opportunity to a nice group of blue chips.
