Asante is a good player. Considering they only had to give up what is probably a 6th rounder, it's a good deal for the Falcons.
The Eagles were ready to move on and get out from under his cap hit, which is why he came so cheap. He doesn't fit into the style of defense they want to run.

He became homerun hitting DB, when he jumps routes creates turnovers you will love him or guesses wrong and looks awful you will hate him.

As long as you play a zone/off coverage, Asante will be money. He'll be frustrating, but then he'll make a game changing pick at the most important part of the game and you'll forgive him.
