True story. I "inhaled" my side of grits at Zea's so fast that the waitress thought she had forgotten to bring them out. She proceeded to bring me another serving in her embarrassment.

My suggestion: main course of grits with a side of grilled trout.

The Thai shrimp and the duck empanadas are the 2 best appetizers.

For sides the red beans are killer but they are served over brown rice, which I'm not a fan of. As mentioned above, the corn grits rock. The sugar snaps are also a good side item.

Main courses: ribs, crispy duck, and bronzed trout are all good choices.

Twice cooked Crispy Duck or you're ghey.

Asian Almond Shrimp as appetizer.

Tell them that David (pronunced Dah-veed) sent you and said to give you a discount. He's my roommate that used to work there and they always took off 15%.

This, and a heavy dose of tennis outfitted, gossipy, social elitist wanna be women who want you to think they been playing tennis while their SO make millions in oil deals everyday. THEY SUCK and the place is full of them at lunchtime. Each trying to be seen until they drive off in their Land Rover.

Yeah, kinda what I thought when I hit 'enter'.

But whats done is done. I cant stand to walk in there at lunchtime to a sea of miniskirted tennis outfits all wanting to be something their not. Each trying to outdo the other. From there, they go pick up their kids at Cathedral or Fatima, then its off to the Junior League meeting before having dinner at LaFonda's with more fake people.

I can go on if you'd like???
