Legends of the Fall is so long and pointless, like a rambling wordy novel with no real climax or action. Nothing but pure melodrama.
My wife has to watch whenever it is on TV.

I agree. I didn't get the hype for it in 95 (for guys anyway) and still don't. I honestly haven't seen in since then either.

Chick flicks need one of three things.
1. Cancer.
2. Brad Pitt.
3. A woman cheating and for some reason it is OK. In this case the woman is a whore and screws EVERY brother!! But the cheating is OK because it is Brad Pitt. And I feel that ANY woman or my wife would push me aside by the face to get to a mid 90's Brad Pitt. As I would to get at mid to late 90's Jennifer Anniston or Kate Beckindsale this very second.

Seriously, good movie. I can get why guys may not like it though. Anthony Hopkins is great in it as the patriarch.
