I need some outdoor board guidance. I'm tired of striking out.

I tore the bass up this past weekend in a clear clay-bottom pond with this.

If you can run a crankbait thru it I'd chunk a 200 series crawfish colored bandit. I've been killin em on the golf course on one. Either that or a watermelon baby brush hog.

I'm looking for bass or sacalait, but who am I kidding I would even take a goo fish right now if they're biting. Thinking about hooking up a trolling motor to the canoe and trolling a bit too.

You can manage to cast those things weightless with a baitcaster? I can do it with a mag finesse or senko but even with my lowrider weightless worm I can't throw the small finesse worms on a baitcasting setup.

ETA but as far as color and technique, yea I agree with your post

When things get bad just go to shiners. At least then it isn't that you were throwing the wrong thing you just weren't fishing in a productive area.

I need to get another Curado. The Revo S can't handle it.

Of course I was gonna get a finesse spinning setup just for this. One of my favorite things to fish, but I usually rig them wacky with one of those weedless hooks with a 1/32 oz weight it. I can kinda manage to throw those on my baitcaster but I have to hum it, can't pitch it where I want for shite

I have a couple mini chatterbaits and I have never thrown them. Hell I have a bigger one with a swimbait on it and I have never thrown it either.

Not the Revo, its the internal brakes. If not set right, all reels suck.

I lost my whole tacklebox a few weeks ago. So I'm slowly rebuilding it, I've always wanted to try them, so it was the first thing I put on and ended up not taking it off Caught 8, hooked another 3 that got off.
