The Senate Dems are missing an opportunity to show that they are good stewards of tax payer money. Why they could propose a budget, wait for the Rs to attack, back off the proposed budget and come off as saving tax payer money at the same time saving the safety net with a balanced and fair approach (with the help of the media of course).

Because Harry Reid does not want his party to vote on anything that could be used against the democrats up for re-election and the people who vote for them are stupid enough to fall for this hook line and sinker.
When was the last time we went this long with out a budget passed?

a) what will anyone do about the Congress' complete failure to carry out its legal (constitutional) duty?
b) will Boehner have the sack to no pass any more continuing resolutions ("shutting down" the government)?

My initial thought was that most voters wouldn't fall for this bull shite. It's one of my weaknesses. I seem to always give people the benefit of the doubt. However, these D senators know their base better than I. They must be a bunch of dumb asses.
