Watching Major League and I'm curious

Did Taylor and Hayes know the pitcher was going to throw at him? They put this bunt and run on but don't do it until the second pitch after the call.

If I remember correctly I think so because they mentioned that he threw at his own son in a father son game.

I thought he threw at him after he "called his shot". IIRC, he pitched once, then Taylor sent signals to the dugout, then he "calls his shot" just to throw the infield off guard.
