So, which coach would Tiger fans want as Basketball Coach?

Seems Rivals.com names three other coaches as potential candidates behind Tubby: North Texas’ Johnny Jones, Oral Roberts’ Scott Sutton and Lehigh’s Brett Reed.
Isn't Reed old like Tubby?
Sutton, meh...some issue at one time.
I still think Jones would be a better fit...what is the deal with LSU AD, you think he would get Jones. Saw last year where Jones out coached Trent with his North Texas team at the PMAC.
Where does Murray State's coach play in...heard earlier he was interviewed.
But, come on...why is there hesitation with Jones...is there bad vibes or some sort of connection with Daddy Dale in the past that is scaring LSU?

I am surprised no votes for Sutton...he does not excite...has the meh effect.
Something about Jones and getting the recruits that are around Baton Rouge could be scary good.

I'd rather Sutton over Jones. Been more successful in a harder conference than Jones.

Johnny Jones is barely over 500 in sun belt play and he still has ties to the whole Lester Earl fiasco. I would be okay with Jones if the right bench coach was hired.
I'm also okay with Tubby but am not looking for a package deal with Saul.
Tubby will be the guy barring any snags or change of hearts, it will be fluid through the weekend and I expect something finalized Monday in time to meet with Ricardo Gathers.

Better get use to seeing Saul next to Tubby on the bench...one of the reason he was forced out of Lexington, plus would not make any changes with staff.
He will be a safe hire...recruiting is not his his favorite thing to do...better have a great recruiting coordinator that comes in with him...in which he did a decent job getting guys to Minney.
It will be fun to see the Ol Tubster back in the SEC...liked him at UK...he just lost the fire towards the end of his tenure at Lexington.

And has been in the same aging geriatric slide while at Minny..grinding final paydays albeit with solid effort and work. I liked him at Tulsa and UK, but that was then..not now!
LSU needs fire and/or youth! Maybe even a splash?
I wanted Anthony Grant over TJ. I want Smart now, or Pearl. Could live with JJ, but as with other solid HCs like Dixon, Pastner, Bennett, just doesn't excite me in terms of LSU's current needs.
