2000ish I was playing city park twilight fee (awesome deal for a student), and Colis Temple played up. Dude could kill a golf ball. I guess the height and what not, but monster drives.

There was another guy there did not catch his name- Johnny Jones maybe? It was before his sons played at LSU. There was also a guy he called young blood who could kill the ball.
this story is getting cooler!

Baton Rouge CC was overseeding the greens? It was 2000- there are some par 4s there

Let it creakin go. CT is old and out. Lsu has black qb's, coaches, etc. it is not 1972. I am not saying racism isn't alive and well in baton rouge. We have to interview and look at qualifications period. If jones is the most qualified then hire him.. Just make sure the job requirements doesn't include past players or coaches opinions unless they are employed by the university to have input on these decisions. As I posted before lsu had questonable practices around student sthletes in football and basketball. See John Williams well documented articals around horse racing tracks and mentors.
