He is smaller in weight for a DT, but exactly what Spags wants in a DE. So what type of D-lineman are you referring to?

Doesnt seem like a terrible idea. Plus he was coached by Pelini, who i think has a good eye for talent and is a good coach. I wouldnt mind this. Especially if we get rid of BIg Sed, we'll need lineman and CB's now that the Lb's are looking better.

I agree as well. I dont think however, that Sed is going anywhere.

Yeah i just dont know about that. Ive said be fore if he stays I'll be happy, played well in 2010, contract year, new scheme, better LB's behind him, PeeWee Herman dance, the whole nine yards.
If he goes, no hard feelings. I wish him the best. I thin khes got talent, hopefully Spags can bring it out

I'm curious, what do yall think of Dwight Bentley? If he fell to us in the 3rd round would you want him? We all agree we need to draft a CB at some point. Would y'all be opposed to taking him with this pick?

I read some on him the other day. When healthy he played well. His senior year he missed part of spring football because of knee tendinitis. He only played in five games last year and his first missed game was because of a concussion. He later tore a pectoral muscle and missed the rest of the year. He didn't miss any time during the 2009 and 2010 seasons though and had 9.5 sacks in each year.

Bentley wouldnt be a bad choice but something tells me he wont be there

Yea I'm not sure if he will either. But I've seen him predicted later than early 3rd round. I think he's one of those guys that could slip a little.

He just seems like he's just a run stopper and not a pass rusher.

Well Cameron Jordan wasn't a sack artist coming out of college either. Scouting reports can be somewhat contradictive. Like with Crick, the one I read on him said he won't be a sack artist but has the ability to serve as a nickel rusher in passing situations? WTF? Maybe they just meant to say he is best served working in a rotation.
