May be Jerry Jones. Think about it I know you don't wanna hear this but it's the perfect time for him to get Sean Payton ultimately. His wife already lives there and the saints may be inclined to just find a permenant replacement for Payton and just start clean. There's nothing definite saying Payton is gonna be allowed back in the league at the moment and that may make the saints go in a different direction. Flame this thread all you want but it probably makes the most sense for the franchise to just start over. Only problem is I think if Payton isn't back Brees won't be either after next season

Didnt you start a thread with this same title, but said it was someone else? I cant remember if that was you. I think you said the media was the winner

Why the frick would they be inclined to fire our SB winning coach, and our HOF QB's mentor and best friend, and the best OC in football?

Please. Who here doesnt really think he'll be back in the saddle next season?

If Brees gets signed long term, that'd put a pretty big hole in your tin foil hat wouldn't it...

He will and like it or not , Payton will be the coach for the next 4 to 5 years, that's a fact.

If Benson was gonna cut ties , or clean house, it would have been done already.

until we franchise him again

if he was going to be fired, he would have already been fired

Payton's suspension isn't indefinite -- It has an expiration date. That date is April of 2013, unless he plays by the rules and can possibly get reinstated early -- after the Super Bowl.

If the Saints haven't cut ties yet, they probably won't. Payton is under contract until 2015.

he eventually will no longer have a choice.

I don't think he'll sit out the year though, he isn't going to throw away $15 million.

Do you really think the FO isnt going to resign the best QB in Saints history, one of the best QB's in NFL history, the face of our franchise, then man who led us to a SB, the man who has set countless NFL records, and is like 6 games away from breaking yet another record no one thought would ever be broken?

don't be suprised if it rains tomrrow, not saying it will, but dont be suprised.

Dont be suprised when you have a flat tire tomorrow, not saying you will, but don't be suprised.

don't be suprised when we win the superbowl, not saying we will, but dont be suprised.

don't be suprised when the cincinnati bengals win the sb this year, not saying they will, but dont be suprised.

Dont be suprised if a volcano erupts in the greater orleans area, not saying one will, but dont be suprised.

I bet your favorite phrase is trap game. You know, another situation when you can can say something completely ridiculous but still be right no matter what happens.

I know a good kid when I see one. Because they're ALL good kids, until dried-out, brain-dead skags like you drag them down and convince them they're no good.
