i think hes out. the article speculates at money. the Saints as an organization just saved 7 million with payton salary, 8 games of loomis' and 6 games of vitts.
do they really think the Saints cant "afford" Parcells?

The Saints and Parcells could have easily agreed to float this out so Payton and Parcells could talk for 3 months. Then Parcells magically reconsiders and becomes the coach for a year.

I just can't believe that we're giving up on Parcells this quickly, especially after all those promising quotes about "helping a friend", etc.
I do NOT want Joe fricking Vitt as our head coach. That dude is a fricking mess. And he's out SIX games! Who ever heard of such a retarded strategy. I refuse to believe this is honestly the Saints' plan.
