Hey guys, I bought the app for this year, and have mlbtv with my direct tv package, can I use that log in to watch the games on my phone, or do I still need to pay the $24.99 a month to do that? TIA!

if you have a subscription to MLBTV, then you use that login for the app. I do it, it's awesome

I think you are getting mlb.tv and either mlb network or mlb extra innings confused. You have to purchase mlb.tv to watch games on the At Bat app.

If you have the premium version of mlb.tv, you can just punch in your log in and watch the games without an extra cost.

If you just have the basic version of mlb.tv, you have to pay for the app.

the app is free to use for mlb.tv premium subscribers (and it is awesome on the ipad) there is no app for directv extra innings subscribers.

Yeah, you have ExtraInnings through directv, which doesn't help you I don't believe when it comes to the AtBat app.

Yeah extra innings is a huge rip off if you have a way to stream MLB.TV. isn't it $180 or so?

MLB.TV premium plus MiLB.TV is $150 and i can stream to my phone, tablet, TV, computers, friends' Xbox, whatever.

I have had mlb tv for the past couple years. I freakin love it. The iphone/ipad apps used to cost money, but they are free this year. I used to hook up my phone or ipad to my tv to stream my games. Last year apple tv added mlb.tv and that got me to go out and buy an apple tv. Now that Xbox has added mlb.tv....I have a different game on in every room of the house.

And you can share your subscription on mlbtv...it says you can't but they don't stop it.

My brother, sister, dad, and best friend all use my subscription. I think we counted that we were using 11 devices on the same subscription at one point last year.

Probably. I don't mind paying for both if they're different, just making sure I wasn't paying for the same thing twice. :)

It's free to download and see the scores, but to listen to the games it's $14.99/season and 24.99/month to watch.

Yeah, but I already have the mlb.tv premium subscription. It used to cost money to actually download the apps.

You can get the premium app for free online with a little searching.

Concurrent streaming from different locations? Number of devices shouldn't be a problem.

I know that at different points during the season I have 5 to 6 different people using the subscription at the same time in 5 or 6 different cities.
