I was at the Stein Mart on Veterans in Metairie with my mom yesterday afternoon and noticed an entire rack of VV merchandise in the men's section. This included polos, t's, shorts, jackets, and shirts. Not a huge selection, but I was surprised to say the least. Even saw VV hats in the golf hat section near the door.
Just thought i'd put this out there for the OT. Everything was about half off of VV prices.

That was kinda my thought as well. I haven't bought VV for some time now anyway. I find their quality, especially on the polos, have dropped off since the first polos I've owned.

nothing touches the quality and fit of traditional ralph lauren polos IMO.
A lot of douche bags around here but clothing brand stickers on their cars. I will never understand that.

yep' i've noticed lots of whale stickers on frathoes.
And I have bought nothing but BB polos over the last few years, they just fit better to me.

I've got RL Polo, VV, Lacoste, Burberry and Perlis, but the BB's are my favorites. Just can't beat their quality imo and you also don't see them on everyone. Their semi-amnual sale should be coming up in the next couple of months and I'll stock up on more.
I also hear the quality of Southern Tide is outstanding. I'll have to check them out next time I'm at Perlis.

the locoste sleeves are to short, the burberry polo's are like that too

I find the lacoste's too boxy as well. I like the RL Polo's Custom Fit and BB's Slim

I picked up some VV polos at Steinmart about 3 years ago as well. Still don't see them frequently in public.

I've recently made a complete switch from polo to southern tide, the shirts are more comfortable and the urban crowd doesn't shop at any of the stores that sell them, so they don't wear it
