There were 2 dudes under the bridge in pass Manchac crabbing from ocean kayaks. They looked like they were doing alright.

We ended up with 6 dozen

Just finished off the boiled crabs and some fried shrimp and beers

In Manchac in the pass. Basically in that end of lake marapaus. We start about 100 yards from the bridge and put out nets. Just keep adjusting them and moving them around until you find some crabs. When the tides moving the crabs are moving through. That whole area is 5-6' deep. It'll be kinda tough by yourself especially if any wind picks up

FYI, if you early and aren't catching don't worry too much...some guys we know were leaving when we got there and didn't catch anything in the morning. The crabs didn't really start running til 10 or 11
