We certainly would have not had a defense.
Don't know if that would have been a complete disaster.
He could have left a sticky note in the locker room saying he took the Bama job though.

The job was his to lose until he met with Skip and search committee. Then Petrino lost it. For whatever reason Skip and BOS didn't like him.
His coaching skills are excellent and in question.
If he had LSU's talent he would be hard to beat.

i never even knew he interviewed for the job, until listening to one of the post game radio shows after the Arkansas game this year...they essentially said he came off as arrogant, conceited, etc...during the interview.

look man, we've had assholes as coaches before. in fact, the biggest one is now the #1 coach in america and walks on water. it seems that your coach is ok; it's the other teams coach that is a dick.

What? He doesn't recruit well. Nor ace a premium on defense. He was closer to 4th in the west last year than 2nd.

If y'all think this kind of stuff doesn't go on with all the guys in these positions, you are crazy. He got caught. He is a prick, and I am glad we don't have him at LSU.....but they all need to be more aware that everything they do now is at risk to being exposed....through an accident or someone wanting to make money on a story. Glad it was r-kansas this time, and not us for once. I truly hate this man, but have felt this way long before this. Cannot wait to humiliate this man even more....butin Fayetteville!!!

We would have beaten Bama in the NC if he was on the sideline, but we had grass-eating-goofy-hat instead.
