I see there was an article on SCOUT, #2 for Sherman Badie, but only have subscription to rivals. Will he get an offer to LSU and be one of the top RB's of the class.
any news on him out there

I can't find any information on him coming to visit or any interest from the staff his way. A lot of people don't think we'll take a back in this class unless we get in with an elite player because we're so deep there for the next two years or so. I haven't heard a peep about him and he doesn't seem to have any major offers, so I suspect that he's not a guy who will be getting much consideration unless he blows up a camp or has a stellar senior season.

This and I think they really want to sell fournette next year on being a rb, and. By not picking one up this year you can really make a case that he is the full time starter as a redshirt freshmen or sophomore. Just a theory though word is he is looking hard at Bama at lb.

The Scout article says North Texas offered. Minnesota was his other offer. Says Tulane is expected to offer him and two other JC guys.

Is he one of the Curtis kids? I think he is but there are so many of them I lose track. How in the hell are they going to feed the ball to all those talented rbs they have? I know they run a veer or something similar(or did) but I don't know a lot about how they use all the backs. Any info would be appreciated. Mainly wanting to know if they have a sytem in place to get all those backs carries.

i guess that's the down side of being a RB at JC. Can't get a enough carries when there are so many capable backs.

Yes. The article Mike Coppage wrote says he is sharing carries with fellow senior to be Tevin Horton & two juniors to be (Raekwon James and George Moreira). From reading Mike's article, it sounds like the whole Curtis team is excited about this group of backs

Badie only got 87 carries in 2011 but he was able to gain 1239 yards and score 19 TD"..

Moreira was named RB MVP at last month's NUC 5-Star Showcase.

Sounds like their veer will be tough no matter who gets the ball. They have a 6'6" 330 lbs. tackle, Anthony Taylor to run behind.

Good luck to the rest of 2AA trying to beat them.

Thanks. It really is amizing the run JC has had. Doesn't seem as though it's going to end anytime soon either. In some ways it seems they are getting better at least from an overall talent standpoint. At one time I was not a fan of JC kids as prospects because they just didn't seem to transfer to college well but they seem to be pumping out kids the last couple years and going forward.
