Practice helmets are game helmets
Every player has two helmets and after the game they wear that helmet all week during practice and get the inter one for the game. And so on and so on

Think I paid 250$ long time ago at the mike gift shop for a gold game used one...
If it's not sold by LSU then I would guess they are not authentic especially at that price... Sounds like replicas

Paid $250 for game worn BCS 2003 helmet (Benny Brazell's)... fyi dude is a pinhead. My 7 year old kid cant get his head in the helmet.

I think I paid $300 for the one I got my son for Christmas this past football season. Got it at the gift shop by Mike's cage. I assume it was Michael Brocker's. Had #90 sticker on the back. Also had one of those nike neoprene cushions on the chin strap.

Before calling someone out get your facts straight. While in season the game helmet from the previous week is used, decals and all. After the first game every practice helmet will have decals on it until spring ball at practice.
