AK-47 - Questions

I am wanting to purchase an AK-47. From what I have read on the Internet, it seems that most go for the Bulgarian model. Do any of you have AK-47s? If so, what model do you have?

I love my Lancaster Russian red. I replaced the pistol grip with wood and stained it the same.

I've got a romanian. it wasnt pretty wjen i got it but i refinished all the furniture. there are much nicer ak's out there than romanians but it goes bang everyti.e
Most romanians are a bit of a crap shoot because century imports most of the. century isnt known for quality control.

you should look at the amd65. my favorite ak out of the 5 that I have.

^ This guy knows where it's at. Got mine 3 weeks ago. It is more reliable than a Senior on prom night. Great shooter, easy to clean, killer price, etc. Where I got mine

I have the Yugoslavian m70-AB2 under folder. It has a thicker milled receiver that helps it's accuracy. It shoots as accurate as my Bravo Co. AR-15 out to 100yds

I have a Polytech that was made in China. If you can find one, this is a good model to get but it might be expensive. I do not think that Chinese AK47s are being allowed to be imported into the US.

a lot of people seem to like wood furniture on AKs. I already get mistaken for a terrorist, put wood on my AK, and I may as well put a turban on and start praying to Mecca.
