Batting average
Georgia .307
Kentucky .283
Auburn .279
LSU .277
Ole Miss .277
SC .266
Florida .264
Alabama .261
Tennessee .257
Arkansas .256
Vandy .246
Miss St .245

Runs
Florida 54
Kentucky 53
Arkansas 46
Auburn 45
Ole Miss 43
SC 42
Miss St 41
Georgia 39
Alabama 38
Vandy 34
Tennessee 33
LSU 32

As for our team stats, Rhymes, Ross, and Jones are our best 3 hitters in league play

Rhymes .531, 2 R, 8 RBI, 7 BB, 4 K
Ross .353, 4 R, 5 RBI, 3 BB, 7 K
Jones .325, 7 R, 5 RBI, 1 BB, 7 K
Katz .297, 7 R, 5 RBI, 0 BB, 10 K
Dozar .250, 2 R, 1 RBI, 4 BB, 5 K
Hanover .212, 4 R, 2 RBI, 1 BB, 10 K
Nola .194, 1 R, 2 RBI, 3 BB, 6 K
Foster .111, 1 R, 2 RBI, 1 BB, 7 K

We saw some good offense on Friday, then some missed opportunities Saturday and Sunday. It would be great if the pitching staff can hold more opponents under 10 runs in a weekend

A lot of ball left to be played, but 6-3 after sweeping the #3 ranked team in the country is a good place to be

32 runs scored and 6 wins is a testament to how good our starting pitchers are.

Nola just dug a hole for himself against Miss St and Auburn. He batted .400 this weekend, so his slump should be over

No question. We are 5-2 in SEC games decided by a single run. Last year, we were 2-7 in that department.

You're right. Time for Nola and Hanover to nut up or shut up.

Dear God, if the pitching can hold somewhat to form and the Tigers find consistent offense, they'll be deadly.

I'm more worried about the DH, not CF....Foster will get better. But Didier hasn't shown much yet.....I'd prefer Moore, Powell, or Edward there

I love Foster in center field, he's shown great hustle out there this weekend, but you're right. His stick is killing me. He seems to be the JaCoby Jones of this year. Started off really well, until conference play started..

We are in a great spot. The batting average is really fine if we can just find a way to string hits together, better situational hitting, all that jazz. A solid average with the lowest run total in the league means we need tweaking, not an overhaul.

But I'm feeling good about where we are right now. If we can be at worst 10-5 after Bama next week, that's a great position at the halfway point.

(I'd prefer 12-3, but you know...)

Yeah, I'm fine with most of the lineup. Like Dozar at 1st. But I'd like to see basically anyone else get a shot at DH

Did you forget about that sizzling ground ball he smacked to third base today to get the winning RBI?
