Did Randell play at all today. If so, how did he do.

I left the game at halftime and when I left he had not stepped on the field at that time.

Played against scrubs...strong arm, decent legs and raw...not very accurate down field right now.

Randall played with 3rdthe string and walkons. Did well, running and throwing. Some fans are gonna be pissed when he plays, hes gonna be Les running qb.

I don't know why he only played against the walk ons/3rd string guys.. Wanted to see him against the 1st team guys like Rivers did

Rivers is the back up. He needs all the reps he can get. Chances are he'll have to take some snaps this season.

He played well. Looks to be very fast and threw the ball extremely well! The part that I didn't like was he didn't have on a green non contact jersey and he was tackled live. And he did have a couple of nice completions in very tight coverage. Overall. Didn't disappoint.

He did a good job of getting the ball to Tabari Willians, who looked like the most explosive 167 lb dude to ever dawn a Tiger uni (according to the flyer stats). Williams really did play hard core, even if it was against the 2nd/third string D.

As well they should have said that. Most LSU fans are on the same wavelength. We don't like the Option and don't like the QB taking away running plays away from the RB's.

Not at all. It was because the first half there were ZERO option plays. Also why didn't he have a green jersey on like the other QBs? Everyone thought normal jersey meant some option was coming. Guess what, Randall didn't run a single option play though. He ran a naked boot, but zero option. It was a great day.

I was just asking that to I Speak As I Please because he's a dumbass, but all that is good to hear. It pisses me off that some people already hate Randall so much just because JJ wasn't good and he ran the option.

when executed correctly, the option gives opposing defenses fits...I would welcome a good option play or two sprinkled through out this year's games...

I believe that's what Randall will be used for. Not necessarily a lot this year, but definitely in the future. He isn't starting QB material. Yet at least.

That option play where he pitched it 10 yards past the line of scrimmage was badass.
