Thursday night at the Coach House in San Juan Capistrano.

This guy was absolutely incredible. Shades of Jimi Hendrix on some of the tunes.

Jonny Lang, wow he was good to start off with. It seems that along with his conversion to Christianity he lost the grit and drive. Went from loving him to not even liking his sound anymore.

I remember listening to Lang back in '05 or so and thinking he had real talent.

His first album, Lie To Me, was terrific. His 2nd and 3rd albums, Wander This World and Long Time Coming, were good too.

He's sort of a gospel guy now and while I have no objection to that, it's not really the kind of music I like.
