I love Choking Victim, but what I think is the likely reason for me preferring Leftover Crack is the fact that I've been able to see them a couple times. It seems like Choking Victim split up before they got off the ground..

Hell, I'm surprised that I'm not the only person on this band that knows and follows these bands.

One of the Leftover Crack shows is very fuzzy due to mass consumption of alcohol before the show, but the other one (at Fun Fun Fun fest 2008) was excellent. Dusty as hell, but excellent.

There was a GREAT punk line-up at FFFF that year... Bad Brains, Bouncing Souls, Cro-Mags, adolescents, ALL, Integrity, Krum-Bums, Leftover Crack, Swingin' Utters, and more.

I definitely don't dislike Citizen Fish, but the Subhumans logo looked a lot better on my jacket. Haha.

I like both about the same, but with Subhumans edging them out.

It's held annually about a month after ACLfest in Austin, TX.

... And yes, Integrity kicked fricking arse.

This past year's festival had Kid Dynamite, Paint It Black, and Bane performing... As well as Danzig, but he was a big giant douche (which was very Danzig of him).

The festival has so many genres of music represented, but I could honestly typically stay at the Punk stage the majority of the day and be very content in knowing it was $$$ well spent.

Do you live in SF? If so, once in a while my buddy's band PTL (Preachers That Lie) will reunite for a few shows... You should check them out if you catch wind of it.
