I have an old Macbook. I bought it in 2008.
It has....
Model Name: MacBook
Model Identifier: MacBook4,1
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
Processor Speed: 2.4 GHz
Number Of Processors: 1
Total Number Of Cores: 2
L2 Cache: 3 MB
Memory: 2 GB
Bus Speed: 800 MHz
I have no idea what most of that means. Could I play Diablo3 on this ancient piece of equipment?

I don't think I'd mind doing that. I didn't have a great computer for the last Diablo either. I just wanna play.

I can't get that website to run in Chrome, and my firewall doesn't seem to like it either.
I know I can run the game, but how high of setting I don't know, does it say how well you can run the game or just yes you can no you can't?
Intel Core i7 2760QM 2.40GHz 3.5GHz turboboost
8GB 1600MHz RAM
Radeon HD 7690M 2GB
160GB Solid State Drive
1080P LED Display
Windows 7 Professional 64bit
I should be able to run it at pretty decent settings shouldn't I?

What graphics card do you have?
You could sand to upgrade your ram from 2GB to 4GB.
Eta: hold option and press the apple icon at the top left of your screen. Then click "System Information". A window will pop up with your Mac's specs. On the sidebar click on "Graphics/Displays". What does it say?

That's not going to do it. You want at least GeForce 8600 GT (256 MB). GMA X3100 is listed as "unsupported".

Probably can't on your machine.

No luck for you.
And no, there is no way to upgrade it. It's a macbook.
You can build a PC for 400-500 that can play D3 fine.
Or if you have a console, you can hope that a port will happen.

What would be the best way to go if I were to buy a gaming computer? Something in the 400-600 range.

May be difficult to buy a gaming computer premade for 400-600.
Easy to do self building.
I would say Ibuypower.com but it sounds like you'll get lost in the high degree of customization.
