I am never making a play on one of these again. I bought MELA, it had created a device to detect melanoma more succesfully. Well just before FDA gave their opinion the stock plummeted. I held, and it was approved by the FDA. But, the stock did not rise back to what I bought in at. So even if something gets FDA approval it does not always equal easy cash. In my experience.

Yea that's what tends to happen with biotechs. Fortunately, or unfortunately, depending how you look at it, Amgen is a big company, so it wouldnt be as volatile as a a small cap like HGSI. But those small cap drug stocks run up more on FDA news. Its one of those things you have to buy on early rumor and sell on news. Having a little background in medicine, I really think this could be a game changing therapy. But if someone knows more about it, please correct me.
