No TV for Spring Game Sucks

I got spoiled, I admit, the past couple of years with having the Spring Game on TV. If i lived anywhere close, I would surely make the drive to see it in person, but I can't afford to drop a grand or two on a spring game. I was really hoping to get an early look at Mett and several new kids. It just seems ridiculous that so many ACC teams are getting air time while LSU isn't. Anyway, that's my bitching for the day.

We may actually be able to practice something else besides a running back dive through the A gap now.

I disagree. For those of us who attend it will probably be better this year. Aside from meeting desmond howard or erin andrews this should be better without ESPN.
Last year I spoke with Kragthorp before the game mentioning that I was really excited to see the new offense and excited for him to be in town. His response was basically 'don't be too excited, we can't run any plays on TV'
Edit to OP: Didn't notice you were from Kansas. I wouldn't go either.
By that thinking this should be a better spring game since it is not on TV.
Don't be lazy, just go to the game. I live in south houston and I'm going.

Throughout the first eight games last year, our offense was very balanced and creative.

To be honest the spring game has went to shite since the departure of Richard Murphy. I think the spring game buzz he generated was what got ESPN fired up about broadcasting the LSU spring game in the first place. Now that he has moved on to the NFL I can't really blame the networks for not picking the games up..

I'm trying to figure out if I will be able to make it back from the black keys concert in NO to catch the spring game... but I doubt it.

Get over yourself its a free concert! I have DZ formal to go to so I am missing them :/ Saw them open for kings of leon in London though and they were bad arse. Im still going to the game at least!
