Since Hodson?

Who else compares? Who has been more significant for the
program? I thought of this when reading the Jeremy Liggins thread and some were comparing him to Rohan.

Wil, we look back at Rohan as the QB that helped change LSU football?

Flynn?

Half the fanbase wanted Perriloux in '07.

I think J-Rock was unanimously liked, but Davey is still loved a ton more.

Matt Mauck gets some cred. he may not have been the best player on the field, but he was sure fun to watch.
that said, why does it have to be a QB that gets that recognition?

Liked? Rohan or Jamarcus probably.

Popular...Jefferson might take the cake there

Flynn still doesn't pay for shite at Bogies. Therefore, he is the answer.

i remember when davey came in atlanta during the peach bowl- you would've thought we won the national championship by the reaction of LSU fans. let me repeat- when he came in the game to replace booty.

Popular: well-liked or well-known; regarded with favor, approval or affection by people in general

Not sure the distinction?

He should've been but he wasn't.

What makes you think rohan was more popular than russel?

Russels popularity started dropping off when everyone realized he was a terrible nfl qb.

Yes

And people who say JR are either not LSU fans, or were completely oblivious to what went on from 04-06

Rohan is one of my all time favorite tigers. In my mind he was one of the ones who got this program going the way it is.
