@LHolderCBS - Nothing is eminent, but I'm hearing some positive momentum that #Rams LB Chris Chamberlain could sign with the #Saints. Stay tuned.

He goes on to say:

@LHolderCBS - The #Saints really like all three LBs they brought in that are still on the market — Lofton, Hawthorne, Chamberlain. We'll see what happens.

It seems as though Chamberlain is a Shanle clone....I don't see this signing (if happens) being a big step in the right direction....

If we don't sign either Lofton or Hawthorne, it will be a dissapointing offseason to say the least

Please God tell me Shanle was heavily involved in the Bounty program!

I'm starting the rumor now. Goodell has gone off of less.

That would be awesome. Mixing in Dunbar, Wilson, and Casillas when healthy

Shanle now or before he got old and slower? He hasn't ever been the guy everyone wanted, but he hasn't always been deserving of the hate he received either.

Shanle has more size and is more versatile of a LB than Chamberlain. If Shanle's price is right, he's a great next guy or from the bench for our club. Good guy, good leader, hard worker, bla bla bla.

Shanle might possibly be the smartest and slowest LB in the NFL at the same time. Quite an accomplishment

Chamberlain would be useful in implementing the new D with Spags..

He might compete but would not be the front runner to start.

Definitely could jump Herring & Bussey on the depth chart.

Herring is a SAM.

I don't look at him as starter material either, but we need depth and people who know the system.
