In the mist of all of the outrage from the fanbase over Sean Payton's suspension, finger pointing & trolling by fans from other fanbases, there is something that is being overlooked.

In the NFL's statement released yesterday there was a line that really caught my eye. The line read...

quote:

8. Coach Vitt said one of his primary roles was to monitor the activity of Coach Williams. This was based on the direction of Coach Payton, who apparently had less than full confidence in Coach Williams.

Every fan has to have questioned why both Sean Payton & Mickey Loomis foolishly chose to ignore the commissioner's office. Could in house conflicts among members of the coaching staff been that reason?

People who know me should be able to attest on here i've been saying for a while that I thought there was some conflict between 3g and Payton for quite some time now.

I know how the board can handle comments that don't fit what most want to hear. I believed that there were issues between Williams & Payton as well.

I also believed Williams was a overhyped defensive coach when it came to the X's & O's of game planning & play calling. I know you voiced some opinions on that issue as well.

In the Spagnuolo hiring thread, that ended up stickied at the top of the page for awhile, I mentioned that Williams was a joke of coach. His playing calling was horrible at times & tactics turned Roman Harper & Malcolm Jenkins into cheap shot artist instead of fundementally sound defenders. *pats my own cock as well*

I was blasted for my comments & called a bandwagoner by someone who I will not name at this moment. Sometimes we fans chose to ignore the obvious when it's staring us right in the face though.

Did you know Chad504boy was the first to drop the hire spags line before he was even fired, before 3G was out the door and before the obvious brilliance was so obvious? Everyone jumped right on board though because of the obvious brilliance of my wisdom though.

I was on the bring in Spags bandwagon around midseason once it became obvious that he would be fired by the Rams at seasons end.

its spelled popcorn. And yeah Chad has been saying that for a while. He's usually consistent with his opinions. Dumb as some may be.
