NEW ORLEANS - The Tulane baseball team had their Tuesday (March 20) evening contest at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette canceled due to high winds and impending severe weather forecasted for the Lafayette, La. area. No makeup date for the game has been announced for the contest.

Green Wave will find any reason to not travel to Lafayette. Pussies.

Always thought it was the home team that called games

It's clear that Tulane didn't wanna get on a bus and come here. Bunch of Yankee douches if you ask me.

Most likely both teams agreed to cancel due to the severe weather forecast. Tulane, being the road team, had to know ahead of time so as not to make the trip and waste time and money.

Henderson, I used to think you were decent but with the comments in this thread

We had a game here with LSU a few years back postponed by mutual agreement in the same situation and it never rained. Looking at the radar for today and tonight, the right call was made in this case.

Anyone remember that LSU-South Carolina game in the 1990s where we were beating the daylights out of them, and there was bad weather coming? All the games to the west were getting cancelled. So in the bottom of the fourth we started striking out on purpose.

Then the weather never arrived and we ended up winning 9-8 or something like that.
