Kevin Gausman and draft eligibility

I don't know the exact rule but he is listed as a sophomore. I thought the rule was three years so how is he eligible for the draft this year?

They talked about it earlier in the game. He'll be gone after this season.

IF you turn 21 before the cutoff date, and he will, then he gets to go pro as a draft-eligible Soph.

No chance in hell he's back next season barring something catastrophic. Dude is going to be a first round pick easily imo.

Holy shite, I knew he'd be first round, but 5th overall? Yea no fricking chance he's back. Dude is a stud, and based on this season so far that stock is only going to rise (what little it can).
